Sole Engineer required for a 35 m M/Y, private, russian owner, currently in Isanbul undergoing a major refit. The ideal candidate is an experienced team player, well presended, organised and hard working. The crew consists of five, The yacht’s engines are MTU 12V396 for a total of 3500kW. There are three Kohler generators. In the summer the yacht is mostly in the South of France and Sardinia where the owner has villas. This position would perfectly suit somebody who intends to stay longer when just one season on board and who is russian speaker, Shengen Visa a plus. Requirements: Y4, current ENG1 and STCW95. A STRONG BOSUN POSITION ON A 150FT MOTOR YACHT (MARSHALL ISLAND FLAGGED) (PRIVATE)
WORK INFORMATION:
A private 150FT motor yacht requires a Strong Bosun to join the crew of 9 when in full regime. The candidate’s needs to be between the ages of Mid 20’s to mid 30’s. The yacht is currently in the States.
Crew nationalities on board at the moment are: English, Australian, and American.
The ideal candidate will need to have experience in this role aboard a yacht of similar size. The owners who are in their 80’s are very pleasant, spend long periods aboard at a time and expect an extremely high level of presentation and service at all times. Longevity is required and some of the current crew have been with the yacht for a number of years.
The Bosun needs to have experience in the following areas: Strong experience in exterior maintenance, be able to drive tenders and work within a good team environment.
No Tattoos or piercings. Non smoker.
QUALIFICATIONS:
OOW or International Yacht Master Offshore, STCW 95, current B1/B2 visa, current ENG1 medical
ITINERARY:
Currently in the States and then cruising to the Caribbean for the up-coming season. The heading back to the Mediterranean for 2012
START DATE: immediate start
EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full time. Longevity is preferred.
SALARY: In US$, commensurate with the level of experience. Flights to the yacht will be covered. Standard annual holiday accrued with months of service, medical insurance.
